Hyderabad’s pride beyond Ramoji Filmcity & biryani, Karachi Bakery invited me and a couple of bloggers at their newly opened Karachi Bakery, Linking Road, Bandra yesterday.
Prime location – Yes boss ! Bang Opp. McDonalds.
Quite deceptive of its space from the outside, huge inside. The bakery, renowned for its cookies, has gone beyond its forte and lived up to its expectations quite well.
You have cakes, brownies, cupcakes, choco lava, rusks, muffins, pies, plumcakes, burgers, khaaris, pastas, pizza, danish pastries, croissants, etc. !
Tried a few and each item had a distinct taste ! The salted rusk, the Italian spicy rusk were the cookie hits for me, choco lava was drool worthy, plum cakes were warm and supple, the burger was impeccable for the Indian taste buds! Chatpata #spoton !
Needless to say, their cookies had a generous sprinkling of nuts and dry fruits; so just a couple of them and you’d be done! Also, they have a lot of variety, high on nutrition. Barring a few, most of the cookies are eggless.
On my next visit – Try their pizza cause I heard it’s crazy! After savouring the all-time favorite, Osmania biscuits gorge on my yesterday’s favorite Spicy Italian Cookies & the Burger!
